Job summary

Leclerc Foods USA, Inc. in Kingsport, TN is seeking a Maintenance Control Technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair electronics, PLCs and robotic equipment.

You will also program, calibrate, test and install such systems and become the plant's control expert. Applicants should have a technical degree in industrial controls/PLC with 5–10 years of relevant manufacturing experience, and strong knowledge of Rockwell RSLogix, FactoryTalk View Studio and Panel Builder.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in industrial controls/PLC or equivalent education/experience.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in the food industry.
• Practical experience with Rockwell components and software: RSLogix 500/5000, FactoryTalk View Studio, Panel Builder.
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Curious mindset, eager to learn and adapt to evolving plant technology.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot faulty equipment, diagnose malfunctions and restore operation.
• Maintain and repair PLCs, VFDs, vision system, sensors and control networks.
• Install and calibrate electronics components in systems and panels.
• Assist on-site with remotely connected OEM for major issues.
• Update schematics to reflect changes and deepen plant ladder programming knowledge.
• Be the on-site industrial control expert and primary resource.
• Perform duties with diligence and attention to detail.
