Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and facility equipment. You will diagnose and repair malfunctions, and contribute to maintenance planning to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of mechanical or electrical industrial experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read electrical prints, hydraulic schematics, and PLC diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 5 years of mechanical or electrical industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical materials.
• Ability to differentiate colors and work safely.
• Experience with electrical prints, hydraulic schematics, and PLC diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of industrial machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist in maintenance planning.
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic work order system.
• Adhere to safety regulations and meet quality standards.
• Be flexible with traditional and non-traditional work hours.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and support continuous operations.
