Job summary

Leclerc Group in Kingsport, TN seeks a Maintenance Control Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electronics, PLCs, and robotics. You'll program, calibrate, test, and install equipment, and update schematics as needed.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree in industrial controls/PLC, 5–10 years of plant experience, and hands-on use of Rockwell RSLogix 500/5000, FactoryTalk View Studio, and Panel Builder. Overtime and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in industrial controls/PLC or equivalent education/experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of Rockwell components and software (RSLogix 500/5000, FactoryTalk View Studio, Panel Builder)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving plant tech.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot faulty equipment and diagnose malfunctions to restore operation.
• Maintain and repair PLCs, VFDs, vision systems, sensors, and control panels.
• Install, test and calibrate electronics components in systems and control panels.
• Serve as on-site contact for remotely connected OEMs on major issues.
• Update schematics as changes are made and develop ladder logic understanding.
• Be the industrial control expert and go-to resource in the plant.
• Conduct all duties with diligence and attention to detail.
