Job summary

Motion Automation Intelligence is seeking a Service Technician I to assemble and wire industrial control panels in Rochester, NY. The role requires reading blueprints, wiring components, and testing circuits in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with engineers to improve quality and efficiency while performing general manufacturing duties when panel work is not available. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of shop experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of shop experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Strong communication skills; basic mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install industrial control panels using hand and power tools.
• Read blueprints and schematics and identify components.
• Assemble electro-mechanical components with interconnected wiring.
• Test continuity of circuits in electrical wiring.
• Document modifications or as-built conditions on drawings.
• Work with Engineering to help improve quality and efficiency.
• General manufacturing and assembly duties when panel shop work is not available.
