Job summary

MotionAi in Buffalo, NY seeks a Motion Ai‑Control Panel Builder I to wire and assemble industrial control panels per UL508A. Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship is required.

You will read schematics, assemble electro‑mechanical components, and test circuits while keeping documentation up to date. The role supports engineering, production, and quality initiatives in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of shop experience or equivalent.
• Able to read schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to work safely with low voltage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble / install industrial control panels using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics and recognize components.
• Assemble electro‑mechanical components with interconnected wiring.
• Cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect electrical components within the control panel.
• Document modifications or as‑built conditions on drawings.
• Test continuity of circuits in electrical wiring.
• Work with low voltage electricity and electrical components.
• Collaborate with Engineering staff to improve quality and efficiency.
• General manufacturing and assembly duties when shop work is unavailable.
