Job summary

USA MOT Motion Industries, Inc. is hiring a Control Panel Builder I (Service Technician I) to assemble and wire industrial control panels in compliance with UL508A. You will read schematics, mount components, and test circuits while collaborating with Engineering to improve quality and efficiency.

Typically requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years of shop experience. The role involves manual work, lifting up to 50 pounds, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Operates hand and power tools safely in a shop.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/install industrial control panels using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics; recognize components.
• Assemble electro-mechanical components with interconnected wiring.
• Connect wires within the control panel; cut, strip, bend and mount wires.
• Document modifications or as-built conditions on drawings.
• Test continuity of circuits in electrical wiring.
• Work with low voltage electricity and electrical components.
• Collaborate with Engineering staff to improve quality and efficiency.
• Perform general manufacturing and assembly duties when panel work is unavailable.
