Job summary

LLNL is seeking industrial control engineers to join the Cyber and Infrastructure Resiliency program in a hybrid schedule. You will work on cybersecurity for critical infrastructure, collaborating with scientists and engineers in a cross-disciplinary environment.

The role supports analysis, testing, and development of tools for national security projects, with opportunities to lead and contribute across multiple levels and teams in California.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent
• Experience with industrial control systems design, setup, operation, and maintenance

Responsibilities

• Analyze industrial control and SCADA networks to identify vulnerabilities with interdisciplinary teams
• Plan and validate new industrial control network tools and simulations with cyber-physical modeling groups
• Prepare presentations for sponsors and stakeholders
• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to solve moderately complex problems
• Collaborate with developers to share knowledge and recommendations
• Perform other duties as assigned
