Job summary

Hadron Energy, a leader in micro modular reactor cybersecurity, seeks a Cyber Security Analyst to protect engineering data, control systems, and enterprise networks in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will implement and monitor security controls across IT/OT, coordinate with engineering and IT teams, and ensure regulatory compliance during design and manufacturing of advanced energy systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–7 years in cybersecurity or related roles in critical infrastructure.
• Proficiency with SIEM, endpoint detection systems, firewalls, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Strong understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, and DOE/NRC requirements.
• Experience with ICS/SCADA security and embedded systems.
• Certs such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GSEC are desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with proactive security mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing across IT/OT.
• Monitor network traffic, logs, and alerts to detect threats and respond.
• Collaborate to secure I&C systems and reactor digital assets.
• Support access control, encryption, and endpoint protection strategies.
• Maintain incident response plans and remediation of incidents.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on compliance, audits, and reviews.
• Assist with data governance and digital forensics.
• Support integration of cybersecurity into reactor design and vendor systems.
• Stay current on emerging threats and best practices in energy security.
