Sargent & Lundy is seeking an I&C engineer specializing in cyber security for US nuclear facilities. The role requires expertise with US cyber security rules and NEI guidance, with a hybrid work model (three days in office, two remote) and potential relocation support based on location.

The position emphasizes design engineering for plant control systems and cyber security implementation, with opportunities related to SMR modernization and digital upgrades.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Cyber Security or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering for process control systems with cyber security knowledge.
• Experience in design engineering for nuclear power plant control systems preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in cyber security.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• PE license preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (Read, Speak, and Write).

Responsabilités

• Reviewing Critical Digital Asset (CDA) determinations and assessments for technical accuracy.
• Addressing plant corrective actions and notifications.
• Confirming device configurations based on network diagrams and system documentation.
• Supporting installation of software and hardware on plant digital systems.
• Performing tasks for changing device settings to implement cyber security controls.
• Providing technical support requested by the Digital Engineering and Cyber Security supervisors.
• Performing other tasks related to Cyber Security.
