ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, is seeking a seasoned lead superintendent for Chicagoland projects. Manage construction from planning through execution, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to meet schedules and quality standards.

The role emphasizes safety, leadership, and profitability across cold storage and food/bev facilities. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years as a lead superintendent, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience; at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on cold storage or food/bev facilities ground-up builds, additions, or build-outs.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.
• Must have and maintain a current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings for project information and preplanning.
• Collaborate with the project manager to prepare construction schedules and organize resources.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and timelines while ensuring profitability.
• Coordinate subcontractors and align with project schedules and progress.
• Maintain safety adherence and document progress, costs, and changes.
