Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Abilene, TX is seeking a Project Coordinator (Operations Administration) to support Project Managers and Accounting Supervisors with large-scale storage, transportation, and rigging jobs. You will maintain inventory records, support invoicing with clean documentation, and drive data quality across systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in logistics or related fields, with strong MS Office skills and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, project management or related field preferred.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a Project Coordinator in logistics/ supply chain, construction, rigging, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with equipment tracking management and equipment inventory recordkeeping.
• Intermediate computer skills using a Windows-based system; proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent team-building, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and invoicing practices is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with warehouse / storage teams and Project Managers to verify inventory status and readiness for delivery.
• Ensure storage data accuracy through daily system audits and cross-checking with tickets and records.
• Assist in job cost tracking by reconciling PO numbers, serial numbers, barcodes, and equipment identifiers.
• Log final setting location of delivered equipment and maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare invoice backup packets for key accounts, especially during month-end billing cycles.
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure billing reflects contractual terms and proper supporting documentation.
