Job summary

Ford's Advanced Technology Platforms (ATP) Sight organization is seeking a Hardware Engineer to own the hardware backbone of our computer-vision manufacturing products. You will specify, test, and deploy cameras, edge compute devices, and network infrastructure on Ford plant floors globally.

You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and plant personnel to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable hardware across Sight.IQ and related platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years specifying, testing, or deploying industrial cameras or edge devices.
• Experience with machine vision hardware and edge compute equipment.
• Familiarity with industrial networking and troubleshooting at packet level.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware backbone for camera, edge compute, and power/network infrastructure.
• Support Sight vision products across Ford plant floors globally.
• Coordinate testing, certification, and compliance activities.
