Job summary

Roboflow is hiring Edge Engineers to deploy and support computer vision hardware in industrial environments. You will ship, assemble, and validate edge devices, work with networking, and ensure reliable field performance.

This hands-on role requires experience with embedded devices, robotics hardware, and field problem solving. You will travel up to 75% and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployments and documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware experience with embedded devices (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson) and field deployments.
• Familiarity with computer vision pipelines and Roboflow or similar frameworks.
• Autonomy in the field with proactive problem solving and strong documentation skills.
• Ability to write scripts to automate routine tasks on edge devices (Python/Bash).
• Comfort with Linux networking, device config, and debugging in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, configure, and test edge devices for deployment (Jetson devices, cameras, sensors).
• Lead on-site installations, hardware bring-up, and system validation at customer sites.
• Travel up to 75% to customer locations to install and support deployments.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and support to relay field feedback and drive improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, wiring diagrams, and setup guides.
