Edge Staffing is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to develop and integrate industrial vision systems into AI-powered manufacturing software. You will work with hardware teams and focus on camera integration, image acquisition, and Python development to deliver scalable solutions.

The role involves troubleshooting performance, optimizing existing code, and building robust image capture pipelines for reliable industrial vision across multiple deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or CS field.
• 2+ years Python development experience.
• 2+ years integrating industrial cameras in manufacturing or machine vision.
• Experience with GenICam cameras and SDKs.
• Experience with GigE Vision, EtherNet/IP, Modbus or OPC UA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate industrial vision systems with AI-powered software.
• Troubleshoot latency, dropped frames, and synchronization issues.
• Build and maintain camera integrations using GenICam SDKs.
• Develop backend services for camera management and image capture.
• Collaborate across software, AI, and hardware teams.
