Ford Motor invites applications for a Manufacturing Engineer - Vision Systems at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan in Marshall, MI. Join a startup-like team within Ford to launch a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility focused on automotive vision, robotics, and automation.

You will lead an agile team, implement vision systems, PLCs, and IT interfaces, and ensure FPS, safety, and quality standards while delivering 100% flow and reliable production.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or 4+ years of controls engineering in manufacturing.
Experience with vision systems for robot guidance and metrology is required.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and networked production systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the agile team to deliver vision, automation, and controls projects.
Ensure FPS, Safety OS, and Quality OS compliance with zero defects.
Program new vision, robotics, and conveyor installations.
Troubleshoot PLCs, robots, and automation downtime.
Collaborate with IT on interface issues.
