Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC -North America Customer Center is seeking a Service Technician to service customers with safe, high-quality care. You will be near customers, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot compressors and dryers, and install systems while learning advanced modules under supervision.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul and repair of industrial equipment incl. electrical, hydraulics or pneumatics is preferred.
• HVAC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers and low pressure blowers.
• Set, install and pipe compressor systems.
• Learn advanced topics such as VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring and air audits.
• Pressure wash and clean equipment pads and surroundings.
• Communicate options for repairs or upgrades to customers and Service Manager.
• Complete service reports, startup forms, warranty, oil sample and parts return documents.
