Job summary

Mike & Jerry's Paint and Supply seeks an Industrial Coatings Territory Manager to grow our coatings business across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. The role is field-based, focusing on new business development while expanding relationships with existing customers.

Candidates should enjoy prospecting, account openings, and taking ownership of a territory, with regular daytime travel and occasional overnight trips. Reporting to the Director of Industrial Sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven success in outside sales or territory development.
• Strong prospecting and new-business development skills.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and closing abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the territory.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and secure new industrial business across the territory.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects.
• Build relationships with owners, purchasing teams, plant managers, and other decision-makers.
• Visit customers, present, demonstrate, and run trials.
• Develop territory and account plans to grow sales and market share.
• Deliver accurate forecasting and maintain CRM records.
