Job summary

Mike & Jerry's Paint and Supply seeks an Industrial Coatings Territory Manager to grow our coatings business across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. This field-based role emphasizes new business development and expanding customer relationships within the assigned territory.

We are looking for a motivated sales professional who enjoys prospecting, opening new accounts, building long-term relationships, and taking ownership of a territory.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in outside sales or business development.
• Ability to manage a territory and build a robust pipeline.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory and beyond as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and secure new industrial business across the territory.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers and sales opportunities.
• Build relationships with owners, purchasing teams, plant managers, production personnel, and other decision-makers.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying additional products, applications, and opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, trials, and product conversions.
• Develop territory plans to grow sales, gross profit, and market share.
• Forecast and keep accurate records of customer activity and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Director of Industrial Sales, branch teams, suppliers, and reps.
