Job summary

Moore Industries is seeking a Civil Construction Project Manager to lead planning and execution of industrial civil projects in Baton Rouge, LA. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost, productivity, client relations, and subcontractor management from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial/heavy civil PM, with evidence of strong leadership, communication, and hands-on field knowledge. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction project management experience in industrial, heavy civil, or self-perform civil construction.
• Experience with self-perform civil construction preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, structural drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage industrial civil construction projects from preconstruction and mobilization through execution and closeout.
• Lead project planning with superintendents and field leadership, including sequencing, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasts, commitments, change management, billing, and overall financial performance.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and short-term planning requirements.
• Coordinate Moore self-perform operations, subcontractors, vendors, and other project partners.
• Review drawings, contracts, scopes of work to identify requirements, risks, and opportunities.
• Maintain strong client communication regarding schedule, cost, changes, and requirements.
