Job summary

Moore Industries is seeking a Buildings Project Manager in Baton Rouge, LA. You will oversee industrial and commercial building projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with clients, design professionals, estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate has experience with lump-sum construction and design-build projects, strong leadership and coordination skills, and the ability to manage safety,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Experience managing lump-sum construction projects.
• Experience with design-build or design-assist delivery preferred.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary construction and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage building projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, design partners, and subcontractors.
• Lead project planning with the Superintendent and team to set strategies and milestones.
• Manage budgets, cost projections, change orders, and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and identify delays or recovery plans.
• Coordinate multiple disciplines across the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, contracts, and documents to ensure scope compliance.
• Lead meetings and maintain clear communication on schedule, cost, quality, safety.
