Job summary

United Parcel Service, Inc. is seeking an entry-level to early-career engineer to lead and coordinate the design, fabrication, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems within our facilities.

You will work across engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance. Responsibilities include analyzing equipment performance, driving improvements, and supporting safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
• Entry-level to early career professional engineering experience.
• Internship, co-op, or project experience in automation, controls, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial engineering is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and support mechanical, electrical, and automation systems within industrial environments.
• Coordinate fabrication, installation, startup, operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and automated systems.
• Support electrical system design and maintenance: power distribution, wiring, lighting, motors, drives, control systems.
• Analyze equipment performance and recommend modifications to improve reliability, productivity, efficiency, and safety.
• Develop technical specifications, drawings, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
