United Parcel Service, Inc. is seeking an engineering professional to troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust plant floor devices, ensuring optimal performance of equipment on the factory floor.

The role involves sorting calls and expedites breakdown resolutions, and informing maintenance on repair steps to keep conveyors and facilities running smoothly. Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree with entry-level to early-career experience in automation, controls, or industrial engineering.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, industrial, automation engineering or related technical field; or equivalent education/experience (preferred).
• Entry-level to early-career professional engineering experience.
• Experience supporting industrial equipment, automation systems, conveying systems, controls, or electrical infrastructure preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or project experience related to automation, controls, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial engineering is beneficial.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoots, calibrates, and adjusts plant floor devices to maintain optimal performance of plant floor equipment.
• Sorts calls and breakdowns and expedites their completion.
• Provides information to maintenance mechanics on how to complete repairs to resolve breakdowns.
• Assists in solving daily problems to keep conveyors or the physical facility in good working order.
