Job summary

Apex Controls Inc in the Indianapolis area is seeking an Automation Solution Sales Engineer to develop new business, expand customer relationships, and drive revenue growth for industrial automation and control system integration services.

This technically minded sales professional will qualify and manage a sales pipeline, coordinate with Apex's engineering and electrical teams and external partners to develop winning solutions, and own opportunities from prospecting through close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, technical sales, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, systems integration, technical sales, or related role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to prospect, qualify, and win new industrial customers; build relationships and drive revenue growth.
• Communicate Apex's capabilities, value proposition, and differentiators to customers and partners.
• Coordinate with Apex's engineering and electrical teams and external partners to develop customer solutions; own proposals and timelines.
• Maintain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and other team members to win deals.
