Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings USA is seeking an experienced industrial electrician to support production on a Kansas (McPherson) site. You will diagnose and repair electrical issues, program and debug PLC logic, and interpret schematics for accurate maintenance of heavy machinery.

Responsibilities include installation and optimization of equipment, adherence to safety standards (LOTO, PPE), and clear communication of repair ETAs. A strong hands-on background with 480V systems is required.

Qualifications

• Formal electronics training plus 5+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Proficiency with 120/208/240/480 VAC systems and standard test instrumentation.
• Valid Kansas Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical diagnosis and repair for your assigned shift.
• Program, modify, and debug PLC logic; troubleshoot to component level.
• Interpret schematics/prints for precise maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Install, service, and optimize equipment; support safety and 5S practices.
• Provide accurate status updates and repair ETAs; participate in after-hours rotation.
