Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking an experienced electrical technician to diagnose and repair electrical and electronic equipment on a rotating shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires PLC programming experience, the ability to read drawings, and troubleshooting to the component level, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates will have formal electronics training, at least five years of experience, and a willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training in electronics with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the craft.
• Robotics background preferred.
• Associates degree in electronic field or Journeyman’s card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures; perform tasks in a safe manner.
• Experience in Allen Bradley, Modicon, and Square D PLC logic programming.
• Electrical circuit troubleshooting skills.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, sketches and schematics.
• Familiar with 480V circuits and related test equipment; able to work with 480V and below.
• Maintain 5S standards; be a self-starter and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime and handle additional assignments as requested by management.
