Westlake Pipe & Fittings USA is seeking a maintenance technician to diagnose and repair extrusion equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support installation and repair of motors, sensors, and control systems.

The role requires foundational mechanical and electrical knowledge, PLC familiarity, and strong problem-solving skills. You will document actions in SAP, follow safety practices, and work with various electrical and pneumatic systems in a 12-hour/2-3-2 or 9-hour shift schedule.

Qualificações

• Foundational mechanical and electrical knowledge and hands-on experience with diagnostic tools.
• Basic PLC familiarity and introductory programming skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.
• Organized, detail-driven, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Basic welding/fabrication skills are helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Keep our extrusion operation running by diagnosing and repairing equipment quickly and safely.
• Perform preventive maintenance—lubrication, oil changes, filters, cleaning/painting, plumbing, and component swaps (motors/pumps).
• Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Perform routine inspections and testing to catch issues early, documenting all actions in SAP (work orders, labor, materials) with precision.
• Work confidently with compressed air and water systems (chilled, recycled, city), electrical distribution panels, bus disconnects, and primary breakers.
• Model safe work practices, including lockout/tagout; maintain an orderly, standards-compliant workspace.
• Tackle routine tasks independently and support other projects as assigned.
