Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings USA is seeking a Manufacturing Electrical Systems Troubleshooting Specialist in Texas. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize electrical and electronic equipment across the plant, safely working up to 480V AC/DC and interpreting schematics.

You will program PLC logic (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Square D) and communicate status with cross-functional teams while maintaining 5S and FIXX CMMS records. A strong safety mindset and a toolbox of basic hand tools are required.

Qualifications

• Formal electronics training with 5+ years' experience.
• Associate degree in electronics or Journeyman’s card preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and optimize electrical and electronic equipment across the plant.
• Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLC control circuits.
• Read electrical diagrams to isolate issues quickly.
• Operate test instruments on 480V circuits.
• Maintain FIXX CMMS entries and 5S standards.
• Respond to emergency call-ins and support uptime.
