Applied Controls, a SunSource company, is seeking an Automation Outside Sales Account Manager to grow our industrial automation solutions across Pennsylvania's Scranton, Williamsport, and Harrisburg territory. You will partner with OEMs and manufacturers to deliver value-added automation solutions that boost productivity, reliability, and safety.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial automation.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel regularly.
• Experience building long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and profitability within the territory by developing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor for automation products and services.
• Achieve sales and gross profit objectives through consultative selling and territory management.
• Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities to expand offerings.
• Collaborate with product specialists, inside sales, and supplier partners to close business.
• Promote engineering services, systems integration, and customer training events.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans with awareness of market trends.
• Respond to inquiries with accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM.
• Travel throughout territory visiting customers daily; vehicle allowance provided.
• Participate in ongoing sales, technical, and manufacturer training to maintain knowledge.
