Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Shorter, AL seeks an Electromechanical Technician to support a high-speed distillery and beverage plant in Montgomery. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, control, and electromechanical systems on 2nd or 3rd shift, with emphasis on safety and reliability.
You will perform PM/PdM, use SAP or CMMS to document work, and contribute to continuous improvement, RCA and 5 Whys.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician/industrial maintenance background preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing/beverage facilities.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment in production environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety, LOTO, and maintenance best practices.
- Experience with SAP/CMMS or similar systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, control circuits, motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and automated production equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures using schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic and testing tools.
- Support production by responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve asset performance and reliability.
- Participate in RCA, 5 Whys, and continuous improvement initiatives.
