Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Elmore, AL seeks an experienced Electromechanical Technician to support a high‑speed distillery and beverage facility in Montgomery. This on‑site role covers troubleshooting, maintenance and continuous improvement of electrical, controls, and electromechanical systems.
You will use SAP/CMMS, read schematics, diagnose RCA issues, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to reduce downtime and improve asset reliability on 2nd or 3rd
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certification preferred or technical degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
- Strong electrical safety knowledge including LOTO and PPE practices.
- Experience with SAP, CMMS, or other maintenance management systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, control circuits, motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and automated production equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures using electrical schematics and troubleshooting tools.
- Support production by responding to breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
- Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, pumps, packaging lines, filling systems, and process equipment.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, startup, and validation of new equipment and capital projects.
