Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Elmore, AL is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support a high-speed distillery and beverage facility in Montgomery. The role is on-site, for 2nd or 3rd shift, focusing on troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical and electromechanical systems.
The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical troubleshooting, experience with automated equipment, and a commitment to safety and reliability.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with SAP/CMMS is preferred.
- Experience with automated production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, PLCs, and VFDs.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Diagnose failures using schematics and instrumentation.
- Support startup, commissioning, and capital projects.
- Document work orders and maintenance history.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams.
- Adhere to safety and LOTO procedures.
- Maintain 5S compliant workplace.
