Job summary

Amcor is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and packaging equipment at our Georgia facility. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the operation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in manufacturing environments, with ability to read diagrams and operate forklifts and welding tools.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience maintaining automated equipment preferred.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Capable of reading and understanding written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and work in varied positions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair production machinery and packaging equipment.
• Install power wiring and conduits for machines and plant systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Operate tools like cutting torches and welding equipment as needed.
• Enter and follow up on work orders in PEM system, ensuring safety and quality.
