Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment maintaining automated equipment preferred.
• Previous experience working with and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems required.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems effectively.
• Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instruction.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in high traffic, low clearance areas while not posing a safety risk to others.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs production machinery, auxiliary equipment, packaging equipment/automation and attends to building maintenance.
• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and plant systems.
• Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems.
• Maks repairs and tests equipment for operation.
• Operates cutting torch, or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment.
• Enters and follows up on work orders PEM system.
