Job summary

Amcor seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on automated equipment in our Indiana facility. The role emphasizes safety, ISO and plant policies, with responsibilities including setup, emergency response, and preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience, plus training in Lockout/Tagout and forklift operations. Physical demands are significant, including lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Math: add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and decimals.
• Reasoning: apply common sense and solve problems with several variables.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up automation equipment for each mold/automation combination.
• Respond to emergency equipment down requests on the production floor.
• Design and manufacture equipment control devices.
• Rebuild equipment moving hardware as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all automation equipment.
• Work safely and professionally; follow policies.
