Job summary

Amcor is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support our manufacturing line in Texas. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure line efficiency and safety.

You will work with a team to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with company safety procedures. High school diploma or GED plus PLC/electrical experience required, with strong problem solving and

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and performing preventive maintenance checks.
• Perform skilled maintenance including construction, welding, brazing, soldering and plumbing.
• Identify mechanical and operational issues and take corrective action to solve them.
• Make adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
• Communicate issues and corrective actions to management.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as conveyors, pumps, chillers, gearboxes and related plant machinery.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and inspections.
• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems and take corrective action.
• Make running adjustments to maximize production and quality.
• Communicate issues and corrective actions to the manager.
• Start up and shut down equipment following safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
