Job summary

CONNECT-FORCE is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Industrial Automation to install, commission, and service advanced automated equipment in diverse manufacturing environments. You’ll troubleshoot PLCs, electrical and mechanical issues, and provide hands-on support on-site at customer facilities.

The ideal candidate has experience with industrial machinery, machine startup, and a customer-facing mindset. Travel will be required to meet project needs and ensure successful equipment rollout.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial machinery and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with machine installation, startup, or commissioning.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and electrical/mechanical issues.
• Strong customer-facing technical support skills.
• Reading electrical prints and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, commission, and troubleshoot industrial machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, controls, and software issues.
• Provide on-site technical support during installation and startup.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings; adjust equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with Controls, Mechanical, Electrical, and Manufacturing teams.
• Document service activities and communicate improvements to engineering.
