Job summary

Connect-Force is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and diagnose advanced industrial equipment at customer sites across various manufacturing environments.

You will troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, work with Siemens and Allen-Bradley controls, and provide on-site support from installation through production startup. This role offers significant field exposure and collaboration with multiple engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Background in industrial machinery and field service.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical diagnostics.
• Comfortable working independently in customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, startup, commission, and troubleshoot industrial equipment on site.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, controls, and software-related issues.
• Support machine run-offs and customer acceptance tests.
• Provide on-site technical support during installation and startup.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and document issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement long-term solutions.
• Train customer personnel and maintain strong customer relationships.
