Elanco is seeking an Automation Engineer for our Elwood Manufacturing Facility. The role supports manufacturing process controls, networks automation equipment, and data access across the site SCADA/OT network, collaborating with Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering.
Requires a BS in Engineering (or an AS with a technical certificate) and 3+ years in automation; preferred experience in GxP environments and familiarity with Rockwell Studio5000, FactoryTalk View SE, Aveva PI, and
Qualifications
- BS Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years in automation; AS with Technical School Certificate and 5 years in automation as alternative.
- Experience in a regulated, GxP manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficient with PLC/HMI programming and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Support Operations and Maintenance by implementing improvements and troubleshooting electronics and process automation failures.
- Work with Engineering and IT teams to improve Automation SCADA/OT network, equipment, and facilities.
- Lead or participate with teams to investigate process failures.
