Job summary

Elanco Animal Health Incorporated in Kentucky is seeking an Automation Engineer for Manufacturing to support process controls, data retrieval, and SCADA/OT integration across the site.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering to troubleshoot automation issues, implement improvements, and ensure compliance within a GxP environment. Evening shift is required: 4:00 P.M. to Midnight at the Elwood facility.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering or equivalent with minimum 3 years automation experience.
• AS with Technical School Certificate in Industrial Controls or Industrial Electrical with minimum 5 years experience in automation.
• Experience with industrial electrical controls including, but not limited to, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations and Maintenance by implementing improvements and troubleshooting electronics and process automation failures.
• Work with Engineering and IT teams to upgrade the Automation SCADA/OT network, equipment, and facilities.
• Lead or participate with cross-functional teams to investigate process failures.
• Operate within a GxP environment using PLC and HMI programming software under Change Control and CV.
