Job summary

ADUSA Distribution, the distribution arm of Ahold Delhaize USA, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to shape the future of its multi-building distribution campus. You will design facility layouts, analyze workflows, and implement productivity improvements that drive safety, efficiency, and scalability across the supply chain.

You will partner with campus leadership and cross-functional teams to develop labor standards using MOST, validate performance metrics, and support capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Project Management Certification.
• Proven experience driving productivity improvements within distribution, logistics, supply chain, or related operational environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design CAD drawings for multi-building distribution campuses and translate requirements into layouts.
• Analyze workflows, material handling, and space utilization to identify improvements involving racking, forklifts, totes, etc.
• Develop, implement, and maintain engineered labor standards using MOST methodology and train teams.
• Continuously evaluate labor models to improve productivity and adapt to seasonal changes and growth.
• Serve as engineering SME and partner for stakeholders in business case development and capital planning.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners on engineering requirements and permitting activities.
