Job summary

ADUSA Distribution, the distribution arm of Ahold Delhaize USA, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design smarter operations across a multi-building campus. You will combine engineering excellence with strategic thinking to drive productivity improvements, using activity-based costing, benchmarking, and time-study analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Project Management Certification.
• Proven experience driving productivity improvements within distribution, logistics, supply chain, or related operational environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to convert data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CAD drawings for multi-building distribution campuses, translating requirements into facility layouts.
• Analyze workflows, material handling, and space utilization for process improvements and equipment recommendations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain engineered labor standards using MOST methodology and train teams.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance labor models to improve productivity and adaptability.
• Serve as IE expert and partner for business cases, capex planning, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on engineering requirements and permitting activities.
• Support incentive programs, validate metrics, adjust baselines, and drive desired outcomes.
• Build relationships with industry associations and stay current on best practices.
