Salm Partners is seeking an Automation and Controls Technician to provide electrical and controls support for maintenance in a fast-paced production environment. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety, quality, SQF, GMP and USDA standards.

The role requires advanced knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, and electrical/schematic updates, with hands-on experience in Allen Bradley systems and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related tech field with 7+ years industrial experience
• Experience with Allen Bradley RSLogix, RSNetworx, Devicenet and PLCs is mandatory
• Experience with ladder logic, structured text, and scripted text programming

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced technical support to maintenance and operations team
• Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs and industrial control circuits
• Monitor software versions and perform upgrades as required
• Back up PLC/HMI programs and maintain electrical diagrams
• Assist updating electrical prints and schematics
• Support cost-saving maintenance projects and supplier sourcing
• Provide technical training for maintenance staff
• Support new equipment evaluation and integration into systems
• Promote continuous improvement culture
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety rules
