Descrizione del lavoro

Salm Partners in Wisconsin is seeking an Automation and Controls Technician to support maintenance and operations by installing, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will work on Allen Bradley PLCs, RSLogix/RSNetworx, and drive systems, mentor technicians, and contribute to continuous improvements.

The role requires a degree in engineering (or equivalent experience) and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or equivalent mix with 7+ years industrial experience.
Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and electrical controls required.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing complex automation systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong math, documentation and schematic reading skills.

Mansioni

Provide advanced technical support to the maintenance and operations team.
Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs and industrial control circuits.
Monitor software versions and perform upgrades as required.
Maintain PLC and HMI program backups and versions for all equipment.
Assist with updating electrical prints and schematics for all equipment.
Support cost saving initiatives such as major maintenance projects and sourcing.
Provide technical training for Maintenance Technicians and other staff.
Provide after-hours support as needed.
