Job summary

Salm Partners, LLC is seeking an Automation and Controls Technician to support maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and repair of production and facility equipment, while complying with safety, SQF, GMP and USDA requirements.

You will program and troubleshoot PLCs, monitor software, back up PLC/HMI programs, and assist with wiring schematics and upgrades. Strong electrical and industrial control knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with substantial industrial experience.
• Experience with Allen Bradley RSLogix/RSNetworx and PLC/AC drives is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and control systems and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to maintenance and operations teams.
• Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs and control circuits.
• Monitor software versions and perform upgrades as required.
• Maintain PLC/HMI backups and electrical schematics.
• Support cost-saving maintenance initiatives and vendor sourcing.
• Provide training for technicians and support new equipment integration.
