Qualifications

• 3 years outside sales experience required; 5 years preferred.
• 3 years of automation industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates company values, policies and procedures across the organization.
• Demonstrates expertise with latest industrial automation technologies and solutions.
• Participates in sales forecasting and pursues performance goals.
• Uses CRM to record activities and opportunities per policy.
• Maintains potential tables for assigned accounts.
• Generates and pursues leads via cold-calling, referrals and trade associations.
• Creates and follows up on quotations with customer service coordination.
• Exceeds customer expectations and builds relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Coordinates training with suppliers and attends training events.
• Performs product demonstrations with technical expertise.
• Travels weekly for customer meetings; supports events and meetings.
