Job summary

Shingle & Gibb Automation is seeking an Account Manager to grow sales within a defined regional customer base by solving automation applications and expanding supplier partnerships. You will defend current products, introduce new offerings, and prospect new accounts while delivering exceptional customer value.

The role blends office and field work, requires driving, and involves travel across York, PA region with overnight stays as needed. Commission-eligible performance complements base pay.

Qualifications

• Education must include a high school diploma; technical degree preferred.
• 3 years outside sales experience required; 5 years preferred.
• 3 years automation industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates, promotes and showcases core values and policies.
• Demonstrates expertise with industrial automation technologies.
• Participates in sales forecasting and achieves goals.
• Uses CRM to record activities and opportunities.
• Generates and pursues leads via cold calls and referrals.
• Prepares quotations with Customer Service coordination.
• Builds relationships with customers and suppliers in region.
• Attends supplier training and coordinates customer training.
• Performs product demonstrations with technical skill.
• Manages sales expenses and submits reports timely.
