Job summary

Shingle & Gibb Automation is seeking an Account Manager to engage a defined geographic customer base, drive sales of industrial automation products, and build strong partnerships with both customers and suppliers. You will defend our position while introducing new products and pursuing new accounts.

The role requires 3 years of outside sales experience in automation, a high school diploma (engineering/technical degree preferred), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires 3 years outside sales experience in automation (5 years preferred).
• High school degree required; technical degree preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Interact with defined customer group to generate sales.
• Defend position and introduce new products to customers.
• Prospect for new accounts and build partnerships with suppliers.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate with Customer Service.
• Record activities in CRM and pursue leads within the region.
• Travel within York, PA area; overnight travel as needed.
