Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. seeks a Structural Field Inspector – Asset Management to support inspection programs at client facilities in the Longview, TX region with travel to Bryan/College Station and Tyler.

You will perform field inspections of structural assets, document observations with photos and notes, and help generate risk-based data for decision making. This role requires working safely, traveling regularly to industrial sites, and coordinating with project managers.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience performing structural inspections in industrial environments.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client sites and work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of existing industrial structures and components.
• Document observed conditions with notes and photographs for data integrity.
• Support preparation of inspection reports and coordinate with project managers and clients.
