Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Structural Field Inspector to support Asset Management programs across the Atlantic Region, including PA, OH, KY, MD, WV, VA, NC, and GA. The role focuses on field inspections of industrial structures, data collection, and reporting to support risk-based decisions.

Travel to client sites is regular, potentially up to 75% with some out-of-state assignments. You will work with the Field Project Manager and Asset Management Program Manager to ensure

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required.
• 3+ years of experience performing structural or asset integrity inspections in industrial environments preferred.
• TWIC card holder preferred.
• Experience with Asset Management, Asset Integrity, RBI or MI programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of existing industrial structures and document observations.
• Collect high-quality field notes, photographs, measurements, and supporting documentation.
• Travel regularly to client sites in the Atlantic Region (up to 75% travel).
• Assist with the preparation of inspection reports and deliverables.
