Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. seeks a Structural Field Inspector – Asset Management to perform field inspections of industrial structures at client facilities in the Longview, TX region and nearby sites.

This on‑site/hybrid role requires documenting conditions, collecting accurate field data, and contributing to risk‑based decision making. You will work with the Field Project Manager and Asset Management Program Manager, travel regularly to sites, and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related technical discipline or equivalent hands-on inspection experience.
Minimum 3–7 years of structural or asset integrity inspection experience in industrial environments.
TWIC card holder preferred.
Experience supporting Asset Management, Asset Integrity, MI, RBI preferred.
Familiar with digital inspection tools, mobile data collection, or asset tracking systems.

Responsibilities

Perform field inspections of existing industrial structures and document observable conditions.
Identify and photograph structural deficiencies and safety concerns, documenting data for risk-based decisions.
Coordinate with Field Project Manager and Program Manager to ensure safe, compliant inspections.
Travel regularly to client sites and work in industrial environments.
